The clients’ vision was to create a warm, cosy, shaded, and green space that opens fluidly to both the garden and a new courtyard.

This design embraces seamless indoor-outdoor integration, with a courtyard that floods the kitchen and dining area with natural light while maintaining privacy from potential onlookers.

Using natural materials that resonate with the home’s original architecture, the design introduces timber accents for a modern, warm aesthetic. Interior spaces prioritize flexibility, featuring a reading nook toward the courtyard and practical concealed storage solutions to accommodate the family’s evolving needs.

Enhanced sustainability is achieved with a green roof and rainwater management system, while a timber pergola supports climbing greenery, creating a shaded, inviting outdoor area.
